What is our Veterans Program?

Our specialized treatment program is designed to address the unique challenges faced by military personnel and first responders who are at heightened risk for developing substance use disorders. While alcohol and drug addiction can impact anyone, the stress and demands of these roles can lead to increased vulnerability. Our trauma-informed program is tailored to meet the specific needs of active military, veterans, and first responders, providing evidence-based treatment to help individuals recover from alcoholism and drug addiction, while also addressing co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

• Individual counseling and therapy to address depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
• Group therapy and support groups to foster connection and social support.
• Family therapy to address issues related to relationships and reintegration.
• Holistic approaches, such as mindfulness, yoga, and art therapy, to promote overall well-being.
• Education and skills-building on coping strategies, stress management, and relapse prevention

Palmetto provides collaborative and integrated care that involves a multidisciplinary team of professionals working together to address the individual needs of veterans in a coordinated manner. Our goal is to support individuals in building a solid foundation for lasting freedom from addiction.
