COVID-19 Update

January 2021
“Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center’s top priority is the safety of our clients and staff. We are following protocol as outlined by the Department of Health and Hospitals as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Our staff and clients have been educated and are taking precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.

With that being said, we are still accepting new clients with extreme screening measures. Palmetto has incorporated additional supplies for disinfection such as hand sanitizers, sprays and soaps.
In addition to the above precautions:

  • All potential clients must have/bring a negative covid-19 test for admission.
  • All client outings have been postponed including outside AA meetings
  • All grocery shopping will be online and picked up by staff
  • No visitation on campus

If one does show symptoms of the virus, the client will be taken to the local hospital for testing. If positive, the DHH will be contacted and protocol will be followed as instructed.
Please be cognizant to cover cough and sneeze and practice constant and correct handwashing.

We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our customers and communities as needed.

For more information about COVD-19 and what you can do to keep healthy and safe, visit the Centers for Disease Control at cdc.gov or your local health department’s website.”

Stay safe & healthy,
Palmetto
