As a graduate, you become part of the Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center alumni family. Our hope is to foster a sense of community among alumni, while supporting a sense of connectedness to Palmetto. We believe recovery is a journey, not a destination, so we plan to provide more ongoing opportunities for our alumni to experience continuous connection and recovery renewal.

How can you be an active Alumni?
Stuart joined Palmetto’s staff in 2019. Being in recovery himself, Stuart’s hope is that anyone struggling with addiction and mental health has the opportunity to experience freedom and understand their potential. Stuart feels blessed to play a role in residents’ pursuit of positive change and is motivated by the relationships he holds with each client and the shared responsibility in working towards their goals.
The two main parts of Stuart’s job include alumni programming and discharge planning. He meets daily with each patient upon discharge to discuss their plans, which typically includes sober living, intensive programming or/and an aftercare program. He plans and creates ongoing opportunities for alumni to experience continuous connection and recovery renewal. His hope is to foster a sense of community among alumni, while supporting a sense of connectedness to Palmetto. He believes recovery is a journey, not a destination.
ZOOM MEETING: Palmetto’s monthly alumni meeting is held by Counselor, Jeff Noles, on the first Wednesday of every month. Sign up to receive monthly updates HERE.
