Debbie Pritchard

Front Desk Coordinator

Debbie Pritchard has been a member of the Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center team since the spring of 2023, serving as a receptionist and one of the first people patients, families, and visitors encounter. Whether answering a phone call or welcoming someone through the doors, she strives to ensure that each person is treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Before joining Palmetto, Debbie worked as a sales manager and massage therapist. Both careers provided years of experience working closely with people and reinforced the importance of listening, communicating clearly, and treating others with care. A friend introduced her to the opportunity at Palmetto while she was considering a career change. What began as a new professional direction soon became more meaningful as she learned about recovery and became part of the Palmetto family.

In her role, Debbie answers and directs calls, assists patients and families, coordinates communication among staff, and manages the many day-to-day needs of the front desk. She approaches each interaction with patience and understanding, recognizing that individuals and families reaching out for help may feel frightened or uncertain about what to expect.

For Debbie, the most meaningful part of her work is knowing that even a small act may make someone’s day a little easier. She wants every patient and family member to know that she genuinely cares and understands how difficult reaching out for help can be. Whether she is listening, offering a kind word, connecting a worried family member with the right person, or bringing an appropriate moment of laughter to the workplace, Debbie believes that sometimes a smile can make a difficult day a little easier.
