What is the length of stay?
90 days is the average length of stay.

Do you accept insurance?
Palmetto takes most insurance except Medicaid and Medicare. Contact the Business Office and our staff will verify your insurance benefits.

What are the living arrangements?
Our guests live in cabins, surrounded by scenic grounds. Each cabin accommodates 8 people, with 4 to a bedroom. The cabins are equipped with a full kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In addition, cabins have a patio area, perfect for reading and meditation.

Where do we eat?
Palmetto provides transportation to the grocery store weekly, and you prepare meals in your cabin.

Can we use the phone?
Yes, you have a phone in each cabin. There is a 5-day waiting period for phone privileges after you arrive. This applies to all patients (evaluations and treatment).  The use of cell phones is not allowed at any time.

What time do we get up?
Weekdays, you are up by 6:30 am, and 7:30 am on the weekends.

Do you have visitations?
Yes, visitation is allowed on either Saturday or Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

When do we get a pass?
You are eligible for a pass once you are on Phase II, if you have been in treatment at least 42 days.

Do you treat patients with chronic pain?
Yes.
